My approach is collaborative as I believe you are the expert on you. I am also not directive; I won't tell you what I think you should do because I want to work together to find what is best for you. I have experience with a wide variety of life concerns or mental health struggles. I like to think of myself as very down-to-earth and transparent. I believe in honesty that is also kind. I provide therapy for individual adults, ages 18 and up.

I can be rather eclectic using various modalities and theories such as EMDR, sandtray therapy, and clinical hypnosis; although, my primary approach is person-centered therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am both a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. While some people may wish to speak about their trauma directly, which can be done in a safe and non-retraumatizing manner, as a therapist with a particular interest in working with trauma, I prefer what we would call "bottom-up" approaches. These approaches tend to focus more on the body and movement rather than talking about the trauma.

I have several pets, and I am my happiest when I am out in nature exploring with my dog or camping. While not from Oregon originally, I grew up in the military, which allowed me to travel all over the U.S. and in Europe. And still, my favorite place to visit is the beautiful Oregon Coast. Oregon is my chosen home, and I have spent my entire adult life here.
