Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback helps with Headaches & Migraines, Anxiety & Depression, ADD & ADHD, PTSD, Memory, Concentration, Mood Regulation, Resiliency, Relaxation, Acquiring & Maintaining Peak Performance, and Healthy Brain Aging.

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, evidenced-based, state-of-the-art therapeutic modality that prompts the brain and nervous system to re-regulate, self-sooth, and work at optimum levels.  As this process occurs, many symptoms of psychological distress resolve themselves.

These symptoms can include but are not limited to, anxiety and depression, attention challenges, behavior disorders, sleep disorders, headaches and migraines, emotional regulation challenges, issues with stress management, and Post Traumatic Stress.

Sessions are 50-minutes long and most find them very relaxing and begin to find relief from symptoms within weeks.

How does it work?

When you go to your doctor, they need a stethoscope to listen to your heart and lungs because without it they could not hear either of these vital organs.  This same principal is used in Neurofeedback, only instead of a stethoscope, four electrodes are used.  These electrodes are placed on the scalp and help us see the EEG wave activity in your brain; at no time will there ever be electrical current going into the brain.

The EEG activity that is being watched by the electrodes is then projected back to the brain via a computer screen.  As you’re watching the screen, your brain is receiving the Neurofeedback.

Individuals, of any age, who experience physical or emotional symptoms can benefit from Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback can also help maintain good brain function, promote healthy brain aging, and enhance peak performer’s abilities in sports, business, and the arts.
