“The healer you have been looking for is your own courage to know and love yourself completely.”

-Yung Pueblo

It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they journey into the depths of their heart, mind, and spirit. Therapy is brave work, and it takes a lot of courage to search for a therapist. I want to thank you for reading my bio and considering me.

I work with adults, couples, and adult families. My therapy style is collaborative, meaning I center my work around your unique goals and pacing. I use strengths-based approaches to ensure that your accomplishments, resources, and strengths are acknowledged and appreciated.

I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, stress, grief, and life transitions utilizing Depth Psychology, Liberation Psychology, Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. I am passionate about supporting clients with setting boundaries and living more authentic lives. I particularly enjoy working with clients who believe they are “too sensitive” or “too much,” and helping to reframe sensitivity as a gift. I also enjoy working with clients that utilize altered states of consciousness in their healing practice, and want a therapeutic space to integrate their experiences.

When working with couples, I primarily draw from an evidence-based therapy called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). From an EFT perspective, neither partner is the problem. The problem is the cycle of guarded behavior that results in both partners feeling misunderstood and alone. EFT helps couples identify the deeper fears and emotions beneath the guarded behavior in a safe therapeutic environment. By working through what’s underneath, couples are able to connect with more vulnerability and care. I have finished the Externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy by the ICEEFT and am working towards full certification.

The clients I work with report feeling listened to, cared for, and inspired to consider new perspectives. If you think we may be a good fit, I hope to hear from you soon!
