Hi, my name is Emily (she/her). My approach centers on helping individuals develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves while honoring the wisdom that lives in both mind and body. My goal is to cultivate a space where your whole self is welcome. My approach is somatic with strengths-based, person-centered, and IFS-informed elements.
I believe emotions are held in the body, and that attending to both our emotions and physical sensations can create opportunities for healing. I’m passionate about somatic approaches, and am currently training in Somatic Experiencing. This body-oriented work with the nervous system is deeply influencing the way I work with clients.
If you're craving more out of life—more alignment between what you do and who you are—I'd love to help you explore that. I am drawn to working with people navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and burnout.
I believe that the capacity for healing and growth lives within all of us, and that my role is to walk alongside you as a partner and a witness—meeting you with empathy, acceptance, compassion, and collaboration.
A little bit about who I am
I was diagnosed with ADHD and auditory sensitivity in my 30s, and I bring my own lived experience as a neurodivergent person into the room. I've also spent time working through my own anxiety and lack of confidence. As a cis white woman, I am committed to examining my own privilege and biases, and showing up authentically for all of my clients. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my dog, in nature, gardening, writing, and working with clay.
