“Human behavior is rooted most deeply in nature's intentions and desire. The rhythms of nature underlie all of human interaction: religious traditions, economic adversity systems, cultural and political organization”

Mary’s approach to counseling centers on authentic connection.  Guided by her attunement to the natural state of being, she works collaboratively to safely expose the gifts and intuitions of the human experience.

Mary has grown her roots deep in the Oregon forests and loves spending time in the rainforest listening to the secrets of the moss, ferns, and old trees.  Her exploration of the earth and psyche has facilitated exposure to cultures from around the world, rites of passage traditions, and ceremonial transformations.  Mary is driven to continue accessing excitement and serenity to remind her how exhilarating it is to be alive.

Connection with Nature has guided Mary into the practice of counseling youth, young adults, and families.  As a Registered Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, she joins her experiential background in Nature and Equine assisted therapies with Humanistic, Somatic, and Positive psychology to offer healing and growth opportunities to her Clients.  Her passion for finding the secrets of wisdom that we all hold as human beings offers opportunities for others to see for themselves what their own potential and self-worth can accomplish when given the time and space for both chaos and clarity.  She prioritizes a holistic approach in working with Clients to shine light on the connection between body, mind and spirit.  Join Mary in rediscovering your path towards a balanced experience of being that is grounded in resonance with the natural world.
