Step 1: Explore

Explore our webpage, look the the different types of therapy we offer, which insurances we take, and our locations. If you think that Alive Holistic Counseling could be a good fit for you, check out step 2!


Step 2: Contact us!

Our Intake Coordinators will be able to let you know which clinicians are taking new clients/which clinicians take your insurance and begin the new client set-up process.

This new client set-up process may include a 15-phone screen, discussion of scheduling, and estimation of insurance coverage. Sliding scale and equity private pay prices available upon request.

Please allow 1-3 business days to us to return your call or message.

If you are in a mental health crisis, please call 911.


Step 3: Review Bios

Of the clinicians that are available, head over to the Our Team page, read their bios, and decide who you would like to book with.


Step 4: Complete the intake process

Once you’ve decided who to book with, our office staff will guide you through the booking and intake process.

Once your first session is booked you will receive an email invitation to Simple Practice’s Client Portal. This invitation link is only good for 24 hours. Please log into your Client Portal and complete the intake paperwork within 24hrs.

These forms must be completed before your first session.

OHP Clients: Due to requirements from your insurance, if these intake forms are not completed by your first session, we will have to reschedule.

Step 5: Attend your first session!

Your email reminder, should state whether is a virtual or in-person session.

Information on the Waitlist: If your chosen clinician or therapeutic modality is unavailable…

in most cases, you can opt to be placed on a waitlist. When a spot becomes available for you, you will be contacted by the Staff via phone call or email. Generally, the Staff will let you know if you have 24 to 48 hours to respond. If you’re interested in the spot, please respond. If you’re not, or have found another therapeutic home, please let us know!

*If you do not respond, we will assume you are no longer interested and remove you from the waitlist.
